The
old world. A world governed by rules like honor, family, and tradition.
Three great civilizations were ruled this way for centuries; China,
Korea, and Japan. Long ago the greatest battles were not for land,
or tyranic rule... but rather, a recipe. A recipe shrouded in legend.
A recipe... for Kimchi.
Everybody
wishes to steal Korea¡¯s Kimchi Spell Book,
gain its power for themselves and subvert the Korean spirit. Each
generation has brought forth a single champion to protect the potent
magic, the KIMCHI WARRIOR. Receiving
supernatural fighting abilities and astounding martial arts skills
from a magical Kimchi recipe hidden within the book, he takes on
the burden of a vital mission: protect the book and pass its secrets
down to his descendants ensuring the future of the Korean spirit
and the legend of the Kimchi Warrior.

The
next in line for this responsibility, Dongsik
Cho knows nothing of his destiny. The son of an immigrant shopkeeper
in Los Angeles, he knows only the drudgery of work in a small supermarket
and the kimchi kitchen in back. But when Khan, the brutal Chinese
warlord who killed Dongsik's father, comes to the U.S. and sends thugs
to search for the book, his time has come.
Dongsik's mother reveals his secret heritage. The clumsy, cabbage
scented young man must step into his proper role, defend the secret
of his family and protect the spirit of his people.
If he's lucky, while he's at it he might just be able to win the heart
of the blond American cop he loves.
THE MASK meets RUMBLE IN THE BRONX in this martial arts comedy about
a lovable loser who becomes a superhero and then discovers he is worthy
of the job.
